Who is going to win the PAC 10? I think some experts are already penciling in Oregon to win the PAC-10. They still have a tough road ahead and play some games they are capable of losing. Next week they travel to Stanford, a team that has yet to lose at home this year. Their toughest test will be in 3 weeks when they travel to Arizona. Arizona has been a thorn in their side the last couple of years. Of course, the matchup with Oregon St is not a guaranteed victory. I give them the advantage in that one because the game is at Autzen. It is very possible that they finish 9-3 and then that could create an interesting scenario at the end of the season in the PAC 10. Especially if there is a 3 or 4 way tie.

oregon has to lose 3 of their last 4 games. its not gonna happen. they own the tiebreakers over both USC and Cal.

Would they own a tiebreaker over Arizona? This is of course assuming Zona can get past either Cal or USC or both. They have to travel to both Cal and USC so it will be a little tougher for them. PLus what if there is somehow a crazy scenario where Oregon St or Stanford finish with only 2 losses in conference.

doesnt arizona already have 2 conference losses? the only way this doesnt end up with an oregon rosebowl is if both masoli and costa go down.

Wildcats only have one conference loss on that fluke play in Seattle. The other loss happened in Iowa City. They were in both games and they pretty much controlled the game in Corvallis. Wildcats could be the second best team in the Pac.

So much for that awesome Duck defense. USC still has life in the Rose Bowl race. If Arizona can beat Cal on the road and then Oregon at home, then ASU on the road (all winnable games)then there could be a rose bowl showdown on "Championship Saturday" in the Coliseum. Thats assuming, of course, that SC doesn't lose another game (not a given mind you).

Is Oregon just inept when it comes to putting together an excellent season? It looks like they are on their way to screwing themselves yet again. Arizona and Oregon State will be no walk in the park for them.

i was mistaken in my scenarios. As long as USC wins out, if Arizona beats UO, USC is back in the Rose Bowl. Although, I'd rather not be in the Rose as it would be better to represent in 2 BCS games.

If I were you Ryan I would be thinking more about Stanford this week than about any Rose Bowl scenarios. Last I checked the Cardinal are pretty good!

Me thinking about Stanford has no bearing on how the team will play. It not like I'm playing in that game. Just have to trust that they will win out. Of course this will all be for not if USC doesnt get healthy pretty quickly. With the laundry list of injuries right now, USC wont beat Stanford. I hope PC takes it easy on them in practice this week. Those guys need to rest.

Tell you one thing. Jim Harbaugh is right. Andrew Luck is the real deal. That kid some serious NFL throws against Oregon last weekend. I have to say I'm jealous with all the solid young QB's in the Pac and were stuck with Kevin Riley.
